TWO NEW METROID GAMES

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!



Prime 4 at last, baby! It's interesting that Prime 4 is not being developed by Retro apparently, but I have high hopes that the new "talented" team will do a good job. I'm just hyped that it's actually happening. No release date or anything, it was literally just a teaser that it is in development for the Nintendo Switch.

The 3DS game looks great, too! I'll have to get a 3DS for it. I just find it funny how Nintendo had Another Metroid 2 Remake (AM2R) shut down, only to reveal that they were making a Metroid 2 Remake as well. lol Still, I like the new melee counter system, and the new Aeon (?) Ability system. Samus has a friggin' lightning shield now. Just... wut? Pretty interesting stuff. Also, new Amiibo! There's one for Samus, and one for a Metroid (which is also squishy!). The visuals look like they could use some polish, though. There is also a special addition of the game that includes a CD containing the game's soundtrack, as well as tracks from other games in the series, too, I believe. The game comes out in September!

And all of this combined with the Prime 3 Samus Figma figure coming out later this year... It really is a good year to be a Metroid fan!
